Following in the ways of the previous Medic Update for Team Fortress 2, the next class to be showcased in its own update is the Pyro. One of the new weapons to be added to the Pyro's arsenal is the "Axtinguisher". Normally, it deals about half the damage of the standard axe...But when an opponent is on fire, the Axtinguisher guarantees a critical hit. As with the previous update, new weapons will be unlocked when a user acquires the corresponding Steam Achievement. The update will also introduce changes to the Pyro class, regardless of whether users have the achievements or not. Unfortunately for owners of the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of The Orange Box (which includes Team Fortress 2), the Pyro and Medic Updates are exclusive to the PC version of the game.
