I know I'd typed that I'd post a nice fat blog last weekend, but I didn't particularly feel like it then.
Anyway, school is cool; it's fun. :] I really like my classes.
Creative writing is awesome like a possum. We're reading the Freedom Writers Diary, and all of our writing prompts are based on a certain diary. I watched the movie this morning. It was amazing. A couple days ago, we played the line game they'd played. I liked it. My only complaint was that the line needed to be longer. This guy in that class, Jason, he talks a lot, but he's funny. Stephanie, Brittani, Ariel and Marquiesha are in that class. :]
AP calculus.. with an exception of the Bunker folk: Nate, Zach, Cat, Brittani, Sofija, Alyssa, Leah, Melissa, Chris, Braedin and that one chick (dunno who she is).. is basically Steele's eighth grade Algebra I class all over again! It's pretty awesome. :]
Okay, sidetracking a bit here.. one thing.. Alyssa. She's our class's valedictorian. She took senior communications sophomore year. She's taking classes at MCC. Quite honestly, though, she's really not that bright, especially in math. She's actually a bit of a dolt.
Anyway, back to school.. French is alright. I changed my French name to Mylène. There are a couple people from my French I, but there are more people from the other hours. Meh.
I'm still going to the library during lunch, hanging out with Nathan and Zach. Cameron's usually in there, too. When he is, we chat and hang out and when it's time to go to fourth hour, we walk together, then I give him a hug when we break to go our separate ways. :] I missed him..
Art is pretty cool. Mrs. Purchase is teaching, so that's awesome. She was the at teacher at Steele back when I was in middle school. She ran our 'news team' seventh and eighth grade. In eighth grade, I aided for her, essentially. I was the only writer on the team. Anyway, it's not that bad. One thing, though, she likes to give us multiple assignments in one day, and then there's no guarantee we'll be working on those assignments the next day, so it's really easy to get behind in that class.
Senior communications is cool. I don't know everyone in there, but for the most part, they're all cool. Mr. Goericke is pretty cool. He's a big geek, not as much so as Mr. Ellis, but.. heh. We're reading a lot of sci-fi short stories and whatnot.
So far, my favourite classes are creative writing and AP calc.
Gawd, I've been so tired when I get home from school. I get home, and I'm just ready to crash out. Mum says I can't nap after school, though. :[
Well, I've got some reading for senior comm to do, and I'm getting tired. Goodnight.
