What a day. I had some of the coffee last night that the jerk made. Turned out that the coffee was really strong. It actually made me somewhat hyper. I can say at least he did something right.
So in the morning, I took some of that coffee. It hyped me up to where I was in a hell of a high until around 2:00 and then I just slowly went down hill. I was actually panicked for a bit to get my public speaking assignment done since I couldn't think of anything for it the entire week/weekend. I didn't get to present so it made me slightly happy and I had a better idea of what I want to do for it and what things I could use for the assignment.
But someone else, after talking with the girl about it for a while who believes that he's not trying to seem like that, but this guy has been getting slightly up on my nerves whenever he says stuff towards me.
Then it came time to Anime Club. Damn that was waay too...
hyped up to say the least. We'd give leniancy to people that are wanting to make jokes once in a while on anime's, but he was trying to be the attention grabber the ENTIRE duration. I don't mean jokes that are funny (since alot of them weren't), but I mean that he just wanted to make it so the only attention is going to be towards him. Some talk and pretty much going with that the guy there that was the loudest is just a freshman. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, but if he tries to do that during next week's session, then I'm just going to pull him aside and just tell him "Listen, I understand you enjoy anime and such, but your gonna have to chill a bit. Your causing some disturbance towards the rest of the group." I was even challenged on just things that I knew. I mean outright knew. I talk with my VP on things to make sure that what I want to decide on sounds ok with her as well. I don't want to just be like "I will have it this way" without telling her as I want to show that I like teamwork on these kind of things.
When I got back, girl, jerk, and the other guy I mentioned earlier that is slightly annoying me (not the one in the club that was loud) was doing anime catchup since they were trying to get back lost episodes. They were trying to joke with me on things like their own anime club and showing some anime's outside of the club for themselves and etc and I just about snapped when I try to make a quick point argument and I was being told almost that my thoughts aren't needed which was supposedly a joke, but I just threw my phone down and I'm like "fine. I'll just shut up since everyone really just wants to run anything themselves. Sorry if I'm trying to offer up to the people what they want to watch by choice instead of saying 'WE are watching this.'" The other argument made towards me was watching Berserk and Black Lagoon for the club session was towards the jerk cause while yes, me, him, and 2 others in the club have seen it MANY terms ago, many of them haven't. And the point that I was trying to make before the other guy tried making a joke to shut me up which I didn't like was that some of these guys wanted to watch anime they have seen that for the most part, all of us have seen. Let's watch Neon Genesis Evangelion... who hasn't seen it... it was just like "We are trying to EXPAND to you all the other anime's out there." None of them ever heard of Black Lagoon till now and they enjoyed the first episode. I didn't want Berserk quite honestly, but because one guy suggested it, I put it up. I was against it though because I know how many people will flip upon seeing the last episode. I mean flip. For those that haven't seen it, I'll give you a quick snippet...
If your the type that doesn't like cliff hangers that don't have a continuation via that media (like an end via TV show, but continues in a game, etc), then you won't like the last episode of that series.
Unfortunatly, Gundam 00 was put up and because everyone is trying to base Gundam 00 as a forsight of being like the other COMMON gundam series related stuff (Seed/Destiny, G, 08th MS Team, etc), they wanted to bash it and be like "Gundam Wing is the only one I will accept" And some just don't like anything mecha related which is kind of sad cause there are some that have good action and story and because its mecha, they won't like it immediatly.
Well I have class in the morning. I'm going to sleep.
