So, we watched some of our weekly show last night and I think this was rather stupid.
So I believe I've told you me and the girl agreed to watch this certain show that I like to call "SM" because it is short for the anime Sailor Moon (Long story short, we reminisced about the past and just randomly decided to watch that). Now the annoying thing is that he always makes jokes on shit that is either not funny considering the show or has absolutly no need for it.
Last night, one of the episodes involved Prince Diamond trying to get his kiss with Neo Queen Serenity and not ever having it because she is trapped in a casing. He lays eyes on Sailor Moon (the past version since the sailor soldiers brought themselves to the future) and has the feelings come out again. So my comment:
"Normally I wouldn't say this but... Prince Diamond's thoughts are probably along the lines of 'Wow. She is as beautiful back then as she is now. If I rape her young self, its the same thing as raping the present self.'" So my roommate hits me over the head as the girl just looks at me like "Um... wow... I refuse to acknowledge that." So later on, Sailor Moon gets caught and Prince Diamond almost has his way with her, but of course, story plot won't allow it. When it was about to happen with the attempted kiss, I was like "So you really think my mention of Prince Diamond was that far off?" Prince Diamond eventually makes a comment towards Tuxedo mask "I'll STEAL HER LOVE IF ITS THE LAST THING I'LL DO!" Me laughs about that and I'm like "You ain't the main character, it won't happen."
Well at one point, my roommate is bothering the girl about seeing the show to the point about how he will try to get on Perfect World and level his character. Now she gets pissed off about it finally and is like "You know, I thought that watching this was supposed to be a group thing, but apparently its a Me and Dan thing." He didn't like her response.
Its true though. On Tuesday nights, after watching the show she wants during Anime Club, she comes back to the apartment with another person and the 3 of them watch Card Captors and Ghost Hunt... well not Ghost Hunt much anymore. But he doesn't have an issue with Ghost Hunt and Card Captors, the girl is too busy being into the show and talking with the other guy about the show since the jerk never puts input really or doesn't even care. At one point, I came back from the club and saw they were watching the last episode of Ghost Hunt and they start watching Card Captors. Now I see this and I'm doing work with my system. The guy makes a comment about "I wonder how Lee uses the cloud cards?"
Now I've seen a good portion of the series in english so the first 24 episodes are somewhat remembered here and there. So I looked at the episode number and I'm like "They should of showed how he did it by now." And they are like "umm, no." So I was wondering why. I find out that the jerk just threw the episodes on the playlist without care and because of that, they were watching episodes 14, 15, 13 as opposed to 13, 14, 15. This was found when at the end of 15, it goes on to the next episode and it made no sense with the penomenon that was happening at the park and I look at the episode count and see it. I'm like "no wonder you didn't know how Lee uses his clow cards. You missed an episode. It was set on 14, 15, then 13." Jerk is like "It was fine before you said something."
*sigh* So yea. I do make my remarks at times, but my remarks are usually truth. There was a day in class where the teacher says to him about how he shows up and how he's doing a good job setting up his work. My comment mumbled out was "That's because his girlfriend forces him to do it cause he wouldn't get it done on time if she didn't." The guy I mention from anime night just turns and says "Daaann..." I just don't say anything more. He has things to prove to people and he wonder's why is it the teacher doesn't trust him as much as she trusts his girlfriend and simply put, its because he failed the class last term just by not attending the class a certain amount of times.
Well I wrote enough of his antecs. It just bothered me on how much he wants her to pay attention to him like the whole "I'm your boyfriend, pay attention to me 110% of the time" which is like some of the reason why she falls behind with her work because he does things to make sure that she pays attention to him.
Well I'm off. I got things to do.
