So I decided I'm gonna cover a few things and share my thoughts of the NXE.
I call the new Xbox Experiance the combination of the PS3 and Wii with its own features.
The wii had the nice introduction of the Mii's. Little people that had very basics of basic stuff. A face with its own customization and a color change for the shirt. It can be used in some games.
PS3 has that sleek interface (slipstream?) that is nice, quick, and effective. Later on, it gained a similar achievement style with that Trophy system and will have something about the "@Home" thing (I have yet to see come out). You can watch Blu-ray movies, DVD movies, CD Music, music, etc. And if the games support it, you can install the game to the hard drive (unless its absolutly required to install). You can download demos and new downloadable content.
The old 360 had the blades effect with the ability to chat to others across games and achievements. Players would be able to see your achievements and what game your currently playing. The other major plus: You could play your own music in game. You can also watch DVD movies, CD Music, HD-DVD (heh, if it was still around), etc. You could download new content for the games if they have one and try out demos.
The new 360 has everything before minus the blades effect. It now has the somewhat cross-mix of the Blades effect and the PS3 Style effect. Now it has an even more graphically enhanced Mii... avatar... yea. But it has the new ability to install games so it can decrease load times and most of all, reduce the RRoD (Red Ring of Death) chance. Grantit, the RRoD is still a possibility, but it does decrease the chance.
Although I have found out that in some games, it doesn't always justify the means of the speed difference. I have read on a website that for games like Halo 3, the load times are longer. But many games do have the chance for faster load times. Its been said 3 games don't have support for install and Crackdown is one of them because of the "halo 3 beta" that was on there. Also, you have the ability now that if you check in the Xbox Live Marketplace, you can find out about games or whatever other info from current games you may have. Bonus: You can queue your downloads and when you login to your 360, the downloads are starting!
Overall, I can like the new NXE. It will need some work, but its still good for what it is.
