But anyway I live near Fort Benning "the home of the infantry" as it is called but i dont call it that but there are protestors here that come every year to whine about the SOA (School of the Americas) some supposed school that trains militias and hippies want it shut down because they say they train terrorists BUT WAIT it was shut down in 1989 and replaced with WHINSET I dont know what that means but people are crying about it because its basically the same thing
I dont have a problem with protesting and all that but when you clog up the streets create traffic jams and such then yeah we have a problem
they come in every year and crowd up the area and parking lots meaning theres no place left to park or eat when my family wants to go out
I havent heard about any arrests so I guess theyre being good this year
Last year some nun was arrested for crossing the police barriers
Earlier years they crossed the military barriers and the soldiers were almost given the command to fire
gaming news uhhmm I still havent gotten my 360 fixed yet and I honestly dont mind it heck I lived without it for so long and I have my PC and PSP and Dreamcast to keep me company
speaking of PC I almost had Eye of the North yesterday but Wally World was sold out so Ill have to wait until Thursday to go with my friend again but this time Im gonna ask EBGames if theyll match the online price if they have it and if not then Ill get it at Circuit City
my friend keeps pressuring me into getting a PS3 so he can play/cuss me out online to which I say NO if I wanted that Id play CSS with a bunch of 12 year olds I really dont want one not because I hate Sony but because no one I know but him has one and it would be no fun Id rather save up for a new 360 and register that just in case it breaks plus I still have games I want to buy/get/play/rent
In other news my church finally hired the youth pastor!!! (Nero uses excalamation points sometimes so that's ok, right?) He still has to wrap up at his other church and he'll be here soon Im glad because some of these kids need guidance
And some guy in stuck in the parking lot with a completely blown tire hes already gone across the street to the gas station so I guess hes fine by now
Friday night/Saturday morning the youth had a lock-in to which I slept on a couple of diner booths pushed together *cracks back* ouch
My friend called me and I said I wished he could be there and like a pizza he was in 30 minutes so we hung out played games made fun of people got made fun of
I took my NES and SNES there and surprisingly some people played it I would have brought my Dreamcast but I didnt have enough money to spare for a second controller
Unfortunately I need to catch up on some sleep now and the couch in the spare office is calling my name
